Monika made our Alp-Adria hike visit one to remember. We had booked a double room, but she arranged for us to stay at the hotel down the road, which was a great place, and booked dinner for us. We came here for a great breakfast, with lots of choices, and she made eggs for us too. Thank you for such a special, lovely visit.

The owners were very nice. The woman greeted us warmly and even reserved a table at the only restaurant open in town. The rooms are spacious and cozy, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. I recommend it!

The morning breakfast, made by the hosts, is 10/10. Definitely have it, it’s by far the best you’ll find in this town. The rooms are simple but have everything needed for a short stay in this small, beautiful town. It’s a lovely house run by a very friendly Slovenian couple who are generous and eager to help.

After a long hike, this was an excellent place to stay. We arrived soaking wet after getting caught in two hours of rain on the final stage, and the hostess immediately offered us somewhere to dry our gear. A lifesaver! The local eatery was just as good. We’d be happy to come back anytime.

The riding around here is fantastic, with all the twisty roads you could want. If you’re a biker, stay here without question. We parked our motorcycles under cover just outside our rooms, and after a cold ride over the Dolomites the rooms were warm and comfortable, a real treat. We got a warm welcome when we arrived and were shown our rooms. Dinner at the local restaurant was so tasty, all local produce with a menu of the day. Breakfast was just as good. Can’t wait to return to this little gem in the sky.
