It’s easy to walk along the lovely Soča into the village to shop, something I did each morning. The house itself is beautifully set by the river, surrounded by greenery, with a great terrace that’s perfect for relaxing. The fridge felt rather small for our family of five. You can hear the road below the property, though it wasn’t bothersome, so it doesn’t feel completely secluded in nature.

We had the whole house to ourselves as a group and would happily do that again. It’s a very well-equipped holiday home, spotlessly clean and generally well maintained, with a huge garden surrounded by greenery. Kobarid is only a few minutes away on foot, with everything you need. There’s direct access to the Soča by the driveway, and a shallower spot for launching a boat about 100 meters downstream. Thumbs up!

I put a spoon in the microwave to heat it, and the microwave clearly wasn’t impressed. What an incompetent microwave!!
