The owners were so kind and helpful, and we had a lovely, clean room with a pretty big terrace. It's close to large stores and the main roads, which makes it a good base for getting to Slovenia's beaches. They offer free coffee from a vending machine and sweets for breakfast, and there was a fridge with complimentary good local wine. I'd recommend it.

We feel cheated by Angelo in Koper, and the way we were treated showed no respect for customers. Our reservation was for July 2-03, 2024, with access from 4 p.m. We arrived five minutes early, then waited until 4:15 p.m. outside the closed center. No one answered our calls. Angelo was a long drive for us, and after the trip we just wanted to freshen up, bathe, and rest. Instead we were left outside, even though we'd paid for a stay that was meant to be available from 4 p.m. under our reservation, a civil law contract. We had already spent so much time traveling, and wondered who would reimburse us. We felt treated like dogs. After 4:30 p.m., the owner called and asked us to come back, but we were already on our way home. When we explained that, he said to return and he would give us the money. That felt like mockery. Nobody even apologized. We believe Angelo does not deserve to be listed on the online booking platform, and that the Angelo center in Koper, Slovenia should face consequences. It was plain rudeness and a lack of respect for the customer.

The room was a good option on a tight budget, and there's a giant shopping center next door. It's about a 30-minute walk to the city center, so a little far from the city. Great owner.
