Being able to leave our bags at the hostel after check-out until it was time to leave town was a real help. Bella Vista Hostel is right in the city center, within a short walk of Town's main attractions, and it's very clean. The lockers are roomy and sensibly designed, with enough space for suitcases and backpacks. Our host greeted us personally at the door and was very warm and helpful.

Mohammed was always friendly and glad to help with things like laundry questions or getting local buses. He can make a tasty machine coffee for €2-2.5, and there are a few drinks for sale in the fridge at reception. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm, and the hostel was super clean. Mohammed checked several times a day that everything was in order. Getting around was easy, with the beach, a store, and pretty much anywhere else within a 15 min walk. The bathroom was the cleanest I've seen in a hostel, with separate toilets and showers for men and women. In the room, the lockers fit my 50L and 30L packs together, and a key was included. There's also an air conditioner. The kitchen has a kettle, microwave, usual utensils, a cutting board, and 2x fridges, but no stove.

Everything was set up for a pleasant stay, from the accommodation to the nice ambience. The host was especially pleasant. My compliments, and I'll definitely see you next time.

The rooms are nicely renovated, but the plasterboard walls let through everything. We were in room number 3 and could hear someone snoring next door. With this many rooms, having just one toilet for men and one for women, plus the same setup for showers, is ridiculous. The receptionist or owner seemed focused only on money. He wasn't very friendly, and at times we felt like we were bothering him. I don't recommend it for one night.

Parking is nearby, and the facilities are good, with spacious rooms too. The owner was friendly, and the location in Koper is amazing. A great place to stay!
