Alpski Resort Spik

We stayed for a week with my family. The view is wonderful, the location is great, and the food comes in generous portions and is good, though sometimes a bit tasteless. The pools are also great, but overcrowded with kids. The service felt stone cold, and they turned off the lights at 20:30 while we were eating dessert. Come on! This wasn’t our first stay, and it’s always been the 4 stars, but we got the same room again, now in desperate need of renewal. I’d read a comment saying the downside is that the 4 stars share amenities with the 3 stars, and sadly, it shows. Prices keep going up while the experience keeps getting worse. I think this was our last stay.

For the price, the rooms, food and spa offer more than enough quality. The saunas are great, and I had the best massage I’ve had in a long time. The staff are lovely and professional.

The food was amazing, and the staff were really friendly. But the room had almost no sound insulation: I could hear people talking and kids screaming in the hallway, plus footsteps from the room above. The internet was very weak too.

We loved the pool, it was big and warm, and the view from our clean room was fantastic. The location was perfect as well. The hotel feels a bit dated, though, and breakfast wasn't impressive.
