I lost 50 Texas Hold'em hands in a row. I'm not exaggerating, it actually happened. I get that the place has to make money somehow, but bro 💀

We had a good first couple of days, with nice rooms, good breakfasts, and a great location. The last night and morning changed that. The drink with the buffet wasn't free here, except for one. At other casinos in Slovenia, drinks come with the buffet, and you could get a free cola at the casino next door with a gold card. There was no warning about the charge, so we paid extra for a drink we would have got for free there. In the morning, a full bag of laundry came to about 75 euros. They charged per item, with one pair of training pants or a jacket, I can't remember which, costing 10 euros on its own. That's an insane price. When we raised it, the service staff were rude and handled it badly. I work in customer service and know you should calm a situation down, not make it worse. They kept insisting they were right and wouldn't budge. They said there was a price list in the room, but there wasn't. The day before, customer service had told us it was around 80 points, not euros. We didn't see a single smile from customer service during our stay, apart from one blond lady with glasses. She was nice and actually tried to help. The bartenders seemed frustrated and passive whenever we went for drinks, and we got no service at all. It felt like the place hides prices and tries to get money out of you. The location and rooms were great, but the customer service and price clarity were terrible. By far the worst experience of our Slovenia trip.

I was hoping to find a Craps table, but there wasn't one. Still, it was nice to see table games here, since many casinos I've considered visiting are slots only. The Blackjack tables had different minimum bets, which was good. This is the only casino I've visited in Europe so far, and I had an enjoyable time in a pleasant setting with friendly staff.

This was our second time at the Korona. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was good, and the staff came across as friendly and professional. We enjoyed our stay.

We only stopped for a bit of casino time on our way somewhere else, but it looked like a nice place to stay too. The staff were helpful and very friendly. A great break on a long drive.
