The two hotels in the Rogla complex share facilities like the reception, restaurant, wellness center, and sports hall. Hotel Rogla has modern double rooms, while Hotel Planja has superior family rooms and suites.

The basics were covered, with clean sheets and hot showers, but the rooms were tiny. Everything was closed during our stay, and the website should give clearer opening hours for things like swimming, the sauna, adventure park, and bike rentals. We missed all of them because we didn’t know.

The location is great, close to the chairlift, and the food was good with most allergens marked. Our family room was okay, though the kids’ beds felt a little narrow. The floor was somewhat dirty when we arrived, but they apologized and cleaned it when we asked. For five nights, you only get a five-day ski card, with no option to upgrade to six days.

We’ve been coming here for 10 years. The staff have always been kind, the food very good, and everything well organized. You can rent skis and all the equipment, and there’s a small shop beside the hotel with everything. Inside the newer architecture is an old wooden traditional house called " brunarica", serving local food such as " Pohorski lonec". A nice place to visit, and a lovely ski resort.

I visited the sauna as an outside guest. The saunas are nice, though I missed the tea or fresh fruit you usually get at a wellness center. The unusual rest beds are made from dried grass, and lying on them feels like sleeping in a barn, the old-fashioned way. A nice experience, I’d recommend it.
