We were there for just one night, and by morning we literally escaped. It was incredibly crowded, nearly 500 people sharing only six bathrooms. The bathrooms were malfunctioning and exposed to the sun, and walking back and forth to them was so far that I felt I'd done all my daily steps. With no shade anywhere in the meadow, I also got all the vitamin D a person needs from six in the morning. It felt like a super cheap, overcrowded hostel. The only upside I can think of is all that walking and early sun. Afterward we found a hotel with breakfast included for only 20 euros more. Sure, it wasn't camping, but this wasn't the experience we came for either.

The shared kitchen is nice, but cramped, and there's always a queue for the one dishwashing sink. Most campers have tents out in an open field, so it feels crowded and there's no shade. The photos look good, but the toilets are few and not very clean. The road in is quite narrow too, which makes towing a caravan tricky. If a car comes the other way, you may need to reverse a few times.

Having our own numbered pitch made it easy to come and go without worrying that someone would take our spot, which isn't always how it works. This is a pretty little campsite, conveniently located about 20 minutes from Bled, and we had a great stay in our campervan. The staff were friendly and the facilities worked well. We'd seen some recent bad reviews and were nervous enough to consider cancelling, but I'm so glad we came. The site didn't feel overcrowded or dirty. In the morning, there might be one or two people ahead of you for the toilet, but I never waited more than a few minutes. I never queued for the coal ovens either.

The views are beautiful, and I really liked the place. We stayed for a week and had a very good experience. I'd recommend it as a base for exploring the area. The gazebo feels a bit small for the number of people, and a few more shower cubicles would help, though you can get one if you're patient. Charging phones and other devices can be awkward since there aren't enough outlets for such a large camp. Keep an eye out for a free one, and I suggest sticking with the same outlet so you have one available.

The place has a lot of potential, and the stars look so bright there. But when we went, about 200 tents and campervans were spread across its three areas, and the facilities weren't enough for that many people. There's only one sink, two gas stoves in a small kitchen, three women's toilets and two men's toilets. They charge a lot while hosting such a crowd. They should lower the price, limit the number of guests, or improve the facilities. At least one of those things needs to change.
