We visited during a busy spell and had to wait a while for our food, but it was worth it. My spaghetti with homemade tomato sauce was the best I’ve had, and my partner’s Mexican pizza came with avocado on top. The service was great as well. I’d definitely recommend it!

There’s a lovely view of the Savinja river and Laško brewery, though you also see plenty of traffic. Service is quick, and they offer around 50 kinds of pizza. Špica restaurant is opposite the Spar shopping center. There’s no parking here, so the only option is the Spar parking centre.

We were glad to find it open on Sunday evening. The waitresses were friendly, and the kranjska klobasa and grilled cheese with veggies were delicious. Prices were affordable compared with the spa hotel at Rimske toplice where we were staying. It was worth the drive, and I’d recommend it.

The Christmas drinks were great, and service was fast with friendly staff. The menu had only a limited number of things available, though. The pork cutlets were a bit chewy, so they weren’t as good as I’d expected.

The wood-fired pizza comes with plenty of topping choices, and ours was spot on. The staff were cheerful and helpful too. We had a large pizza, two big beers, and Nutella pancakes for €13, which felt like a bargain. Worth stopping by if you're passing through.
