Thermal Resort Lendava Hotel

There’s a golf course across from the hotel, and shops are about 1 km away on foot. The town itself doesn’t have much going on, though. The hotel works well for a short stay, with pools, spa services, a gym, a cafe and bar with à la carte options, and lots of parking. Many areas of the buildings are accessible for disabled guests, and there’s a camping area too. Rooms are a fair size and many have small balconies, but the views aren’t much to write home about. It’s clean enough. The buffet meals are okay, though the selection is limited.

The thermal pools were lovely and quiet, so it was easy to relax. We’d happily come back in summer to try the outdoor pools. The room was clean and very nice, and both breakfast and dinner had a tasty range of dishes, from vegetables to meat and fish. The waiters were professional and helpful, and the receptionist gave us useful recommendations. Fully recommend this resort!

I really don’t get the positive reviews. The place feels completely run down, and the facilities are so old that there’s no charm to it at all.

The food was nice and so was the atmosphere, and the staff were friendly. We stayed in one of the houses outside the hotel, where you get half a floor of an apartment. It was nice, but a couple of things need attention. There were no window screens to keep insects out, and the air conditioning couldn’t cool the place enough. Even the cold water came out hot, so a proper cold shower wasn’t possible. It’s hot there, so they should sort that out.
