Aroma Apartments

The woman who looks after the cleaning is exceptionally thoughtful and kind, and her son, who plays basketball, is very nice too. I’d happily recommend these apartments to anyone coming to Ljubljana.

We stayed in apartment No. 9, which was roomy and very clean, with a TV, refrigerator, cooker and hair dryer. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the city center. The neighborhood was quiet, and even though our place faced the street, we had no noise problems. A nice, cozy base for visiting Slovenia’s capital.

The bus stop across the street made getting to the old town easy, so the location worked well. But the place was filthy. The sheets were clean, while everything else was a mess, with dirt everywhere and spiderwebs over the windows. After we checked out, we saw the cleaning lady go into the room without a vacuum. That says enough.

The afternoons on the terrace, shaded by the big trees, were such a joy. Our room was cozy and clean, and Ms. Anka did a great job with room service. Mr. Marko was kind too. My girlfriend and I will definitely come back.
