Ars Longa apartments

Great service and very professional.

Most of our experiences with the Ars Longa agency have been good, and we think well of most of its employees and guides. Ms. Tisnikar's way of guiding the trip just didn't suit us, though, so after this experience we wouldn't travel with her as our guide again. There was also an unpleasant follow-up after we posted a negative review on Google. The agency asked us to remove it, saying that feedback like that shouldn't be on a public platform and should instead be sent privately by email. We felt uncomfortable being asked that when expressing a public opinion, and think this part of the experience should be on record too.

The agency handled our reservation and trip extension smoothly, and the staff were friendly. I went with them to Mexico on a packed program with hardly any time to rest. Dr. Šprajc joined us for part of the trip, and despite the large group everything went well, without hassles or delays. Manica was the best part for me: so much knowledge and explanation, and such kindness. I recommend the trip.

Our guide, Mr. Milos Mahorcic, led the trip excellently, with a friendly local guide joining him to explain things in museums, mosques, and other places where Egyptian rules require a local guide. The program was carefully planned, and the 5* hotel in an elite area of the city made for a comfortable, safe stay, with lots of good, healthy food to choose from. I came back a few days ago from this group trip to Egypt, still excited about it. We also saw the recently opened Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a monumental, ultra-modern building with enormous, spacious galleries that can display many cultural and historical objects at once, including the largest ones. The country's extraordinarily rich and well-preserved heritage, in the land of the pharaohs and cradle of civilization closest to us, left unforgettable memories. This is a rare opportunity worth taking.
