The bathroom was the worst part: mold on the walls, a dirty toilet, and a smell of sewage and mildew so bad I felt I needed a shower just from being in there. Dust, old guests' hair, and cobwebs were all over the place, with stained sheets and sticky floors too. It really seemed like nothing had been cleaned properly. The staff were rude or uninterested, and when I complained, they ignored me or brushed it off. This place felt like a health hazard, not a hotel. I found the whole stay disgusting and would tell people to stay far away.

We spent half an hour looking for the entrance, and only got inside because an older neighbor opened the building's front door for us and guessed our room was upstairs. Nobody had answered our calls all day, and we were never sent entry instructions, a room number, or keys. Then we wandered around trying doors until we found a key someone had left on a sofa. It opened all the rooms, so we chose one that seemed clean and slept there. I've stayed in big capital cities before, and even though they weren't towns of 200,000 people, this was easily my worst experience ever.

We arrived at night and could barely find the place. It looked like a construction site, with no street number or sign, open doors, and an interior like something from a horror film. When we couldn't find anyone, we called and were told our paid reservation had been cancelled, with no explanation or proof. We were left on the street in an unfamiliar city in the middle of the night. We were told they'd played this same game with other customers. A total scam, and one of my worst experiences. Stay away. Maybe next time go to the police.
