The Hotel Ljubljana is in the historic district, which is pedestrian-only during the day. That made getting there from the bus station and finding a taxi outside the district a bit tricky, but the staff helped me with both and even arranged a taxi for checkout morning. Once there, the location is hard to beat for walking to restaurants and sights. The city felt very safe, and as a woman traveling alone, I never worried. At check-in in February, I was welcomed with sparkling wine and exemplary service. The staff spoke perfect English, went out of their way to help, and gave me clear directions whenever I asked. My room was comfortable, with luxury bath products, and I was pleasantly surprised by the disposable slippers. I couldn't try breakfast, but the beautiful restaurant looked incredible. The hotel and staff had an elevated, classy feel. I had a terrific stay and am excited to return.

When we checked in for our 2-day stay, a very kind gentleman at reception welcomed us with sparkling wine. The staff were so polite it left us speechless. The hotel was clean and beautiful, and the cuisine was truly amazing. I honestly wonder about some of the negative reviews. One small tip: if you bring a device to connect by HDMI, you won't be able to, because the 55-inch Samsung TV is mounted very close to the wall. It didn't matter to me, since I wasn't there to watch TV. One of the best hotels I've ever visited.

Right in the heart of the centre, close to everything. I stayed for 6 days and had a 5🌟 experience. Everyone was kind, breakfast service ran smoothly, and the room was clean and well appointed. The air conditioning was very welcome in the hot weather.

The hotel is right by the river, with lots of restaurants and cafes very close by. It's a lovely modern, clean place, and the breakfast was great too. I'd give service 4 out of 5 because they didn't replenish the tea bags. Everything else was excellent.

Being by the river and old town was the best part of our stay. The deluxe twin room we booked was very small, and the reception staff didn't feel especially friendly. We also emailed to say it was my birthday, but nobody acknowledged it. If you eat at the restaurant, pay there directly: our bill was 15 euros higher when we settled it at reception at the end of the stay.
