Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Ljubljana

The room was nice, but the temperature made the stay miserable. It was far too warm, the windows were all sealed, and the air conditioning wouldn't go below 19 degrees, so there was no way to get fresh air. The bar closing at 10pm was also irritating when we had business clients with us. It's a nice hotel, but this felt like something to endure rather than enjoy. Update: I asked reception to get someone to make the air conditioning actually cool the room. Apparently, there was nothing they could do. Such a miserable stay.

The location makes it easy to get around, and the staff are polite. Cleanliness and quality are as they should be. Parking feels unnecessarily expensive, and although you don't actually need it, they prefer not to tell you. 😅 Overall, it is what you'd expect.

The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. We also really enjoyed the breakfast service. A phenomenal stay, and I'd highly recommend this hotel, five stars and then some!

We spent four nights here on a family holiday, four of us with a baby. The spacious rooms were clean and breakfast was good, but the hotel seems mainly set up for business travelers. The location isn't convenient for a holiday, since public transport to the city center takes a long time. We requested two taxis, including one with a child seat. The hotel called a company that charges almost twice the usual Ljubljana taxi rates, and the car with a child seat never arrived. Housekeeping began very early, around 7:30 a.m., with vacuum cleaners running in the corridors. Over our four days the sheets weren't changed, and the bathroom bin wasn't emptied once. The hotel doesn't have laundry service for baby clothes. The only option offered was €15 per item, which is unreasonable. Parking was around €15 a day, with no assigned spaces. Many cars took up two spots, so it could be hard to find parking when we got back.
