Gostisce Budja Guesthouse

The owner and staff are always attentive to what we need, which is one reason we’ve stayed here several times and I really enjoy it. The rooms are clean and lovely, with very comfortable beds. Breakfast is nice too, especially the delicious jams and jellies made from local berries. I’ll definitely stay again!

We arrived late, just for one night, after calling only two hours ahead. It was easy to book, find the hotel and check in, and the staff were very friendly. There’s free parking, and the modern rooms are spacious, clean and warm, even with 1 degree outside. The big bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included, plentiful and tasty, with local products like Croatian sausages and bacon, honey, jam, dried and fresh fruit, plus great coffee. Our host was friendly and polite and spoke foreign and Balkan languages. We noticed familiar faces who return here, and we’ll come back too. Highly recommended.

Really clean, nice hotel with a super tasty breakfast. It’s close to the motorway, the service is friendly, and the host is great. The code entrance made arriving late easy. Highly recommended 👌

I hardly ever leave reviews, but the owner was so kind to host us on our way home that I wanted to say thanks. Our room was quiet, spacious and clean, and we got a good night's rest. Private parking was included, and so was breakfast, with amazing coffee and food. You can eat outside on the terrace too. There's an authentic Chinese restaurant next door with very good food at a low price. I totally recommend staying here, and we'll be back to visit Maribor and spend a few days.
