Hostel M

The price feels too high for what’s offered. There’s a constant bad smell, and you can hear everything through the terribly thin walls. You might even get bitten by a flea. I’d only sleep here if I were desperate and had no other option.

For a night or two, the small room is fine. It’s reasonably priced, and the area is quiet, so it works well if you’re traveling and just need somewhere to sleep.

The staff were really nice and helpful, and the price was great for the quality. My room was clean, with a tidy bathroom right in the room.

I was pleasantly surprised to find towels and soap provided, since I’m used to hostels not offering those. The room was clean and smelled nice, and the clever little bathroom fit into the small bedroom really well. There’s spacious parking, plus a coffee machine in the corridor, which I liked. The receptionist was very helpful. I’d choose hostel M again if I return to Maribor.
