I’d gladly stay here again. My room looked out over the lake, and everything worked well, including the strong hot shower and the air-conditioning. I was welcomed warmly and someone helped with my suitcases. The service was excellent.

The staff were friendly, and the location has a nice lake view. We only ate at the restaurant, though, and the food was very average. The local sausage was okay, but I wouldn’t order it again. The French fries were awful, fluffy and smelling of very old oil, so I wouldn’t recommend them. They also charged €1.50 for ketchup, which felt quite expensive.

The food was delicious, with each dish made carefully using fresh local ingredients. Gostišče Jezero has a warm atmosphere and very friendly staff who make you feel welcome. The views of lake Zbilje are lovely from both inside and outside the restaurant. It’s in a great lakeside location, and whether you’re stopping for a meal or a relaxing stay, it’s a memorable experience. I’d definitely recommend visiting the area.

A quiet getaway or a stopover would suit this place perfectly. We had a lovely night, the host greeted us warmly, and the room had a stunning view. The food was good too, especially breakfast. I can’t recommend it enough.

The portions are generous, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. Save room for dessert, especially the grmada, which was fantastic. A great restaurant and well worth a visit.
