Holiday resort & camping Bela krajina - river Kolpa

The location beside Kolpa is lovely, with both deep and shallow water and plenty of shade throughout the day. We stayed in a 4+2 mobile house without a riverview, and for this type of house the price to performance is very poor. There are only two houses of this type. One has a really tiny terrace, while the other is in bad condition and next to a road. You can find much better options in the area for the same price. Also, the website's listed discounts, 5% for stays over 7 days and 3% for early booking, don't combine.

We had a lovely camper spot by the river, and there were only 4 more campers around in the low season. The place is very clean and nice for walking, with a really nice toilet and bathroom area, and heated cabins. There are also an adrenaline park, bike rental, and a bar, so quite a lot of people were there during the day. It was very hot and the place was packed with locals. Most of the time there was nobody at reception. At the bar, we ordered drinks and came back after 15 min because they'd forgotten us. It was packed with locals enjoying the sunny day, which would've been okay if we hadn't had thirsty kids with us. We also saw locals who arrived after us get served first. Not cool :-)) All in all, a great place, but they need more staff working there :-))

Lovely spot on the river kolpa, with friendly stuff and really nice water. Just be ready for thousands of mosquitos and the bells from three nearby churches ringing nonstop. They can wake you as early as 6 o'clock, so bring earplugs and strong repellent.

The beach by river Kolpa has lots of shade for stretching out, and the water's very warm, great for swimming or kids to play in. There's a big range of things to do, including volleyball, basketball, mini golf, an adrenaline park, kayaking, wildlife, sports, and culinary experiences. The restaurant serves plenty of tasty food, mostly made with local ingredients, and the wine from local producers has a traditional taste. The camp is dog friendly too, so it's a good fit for dog owners. We've been coming to this camp for a few years, and it's always been a pleasant, exciting experience. The staff are lovely and understanding, and do their best to sort out whatever you might need. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys camping, outdoor activities, or just taking a few days to relax. We'll be back next year and the years after 100% 😁
