That chanterelle mushroom soup and pork leg were honestly incredible, proper soul food. I’d ride an hour just to eat them again, and the staff were so welcoming too. If you’re passing through, stop in or you’ll regret missing it. And yes, dogs are welcome in the restaurant as well. Love you guys!

Pohorje could use more places this dependable. They take tourism seriously, stay open, and keep things consistent, with fair prices. The staff were really friendly and flexible, and the local food was great, especially the mushroom soup with buckwheat žganci and pork cracklings.

After a ski we stopped for lunch with the kids. The menu had plenty to choose from, and all four meals, two for the children and two for us, were great. Definitely recommend it.

The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are large too. Some look out over the valley. The staff were lovely and the food excellent. It’s a pleasant hotel high up on Pohorje, almost surrounded by forest, around a 30 to 40 minute drive from Maribor.

We were just looking for lunch and ended up with really generous portions of very good food. A lovely place to stop for a meal if you’re out hiking.
