Vineyard Cottage Zajc

The bathroom was the worst part for us: mold, damp, dirt, and hairs from previous guests were all visible. There was grime and mold in other corners too, with old dirty cloths and mops left around the house. In the kitchen, a filthy mop hung right where you could easily brush against it. The whole place smelled unpleasant, and we were so uncomfortable that we cut our planned 8-night stay short and went home after 4 nights. On arrival, we were very disappointed because the Booking.com photos looked quite different from the property's actual condition. The house may have been renovated at some point, but it didn't seem to have had a proper cleaning in a long time. Dust, dirt, and cobwebs were everywhere. The surfaces felt sticky and looked unwashed, and we had to rewash the dirty dishes from the cupboards before using them. For what we paid, we expected at least basic cleanliness, which we didn't get. We took plenty of photos to document the condition. I can't recommend this place. Future guests should check recent reviews carefully before booking.
