Apartmaji Mirjana

A lovely spot overlooking the sea, with free parking.

The sea view was lovely, and the rooms and bathroom were in excellent shape. The kitchen could have been cleaner, though, and the overall cleanliness could use a little more attention. The host was very kind and helpful. It's well located and good value for the money. Parking was tricky: street parking wasn't allowed, the space below the apartment was tiny, and turning in from the street was awkward.

We loved the beautiful view over Piran Bay, and the shared terrace was a nice place to relax and spend time with the other guests. Studio no. 2, downstairs, was well equipped and a good size for two, though the shower cabin was a little small. The owner Maio was especially friendly and responsive, always available when needed. Stairs lead down to the beach, while Tartini Square and the old town are just a few minutes away on foot. Having parking by the house was a real plus, though now and then guests had to coordinate. Mirjana Apartments are a great base for exploring Piran and the surrounding area.

Our stay got off to a disappointing start. There wasn't a proper place for us to park, and the host directed us to a spot where we were blocking other cars. He hadn't arranged parking for the two guests, so we had to move our car four times in just two hours. The advertised two-bedroom apartment was actually a bedroom plus a living room with a double bed and kitchen. There was no microwave. The washed glasses were left on the counter with nowhere to drain, and we had only three towels for four people. No bath mat outside the shower, nothing to wipe up the water, and just 1.5 rolls of toilet paper. The host wasn't cooperative about addressing guests' needs.
