The accommodation had great facilities and comfortable beds, with peaceful surroundings that made for a good night’s sleep. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, among the nicest people you’re likely to meet.
Igor was very friendly and helpful, and the location is fantastic. Spa Olimje is a 15-minute walk along a peaceful, well-marked path through the woods. Outside, the house is cute and has a nice garden. Inside, though, the apartment feels old and neglected. There was no bed linen, which foreigners are used to having, the walls need refreshing, the lighting is very dim, and the old furniture looks cheap and has no style. The room feels sad. I’d warmly suggest Igor spend less than 100€ to freshen the rooms, add some cozy touches, and paint the walls with some color. Being so close to the Orhidelia spa could bring him more money than he seems to make now.
The apartments are simple, but have everything you need. Staying there also gets you a 10% discount at the Olimije thermal park.
We couldn’t have picked better. The apartment was really nice, close to the center and about 10 minutes from the spa complex.
Igor, the owner, speaks fluent Italian. My wife, our dog, and I spent 12 days here and had a wonderful time. The apartment was spotless, and the owners were extremely kind and always available whenever we had questions. We’ll definitely come back.
