It’s a pretty ordinary hostel and felt overpriced. Breakfast is simple, and there’s a big supermarket across the road, with a bus to Piran right by the door. But the place is basic and run down, the bathrooms are mouldy and need updating, and there’s no kitchen or fridge.

The excellent breakfast and especially the staff made my stay at Hostel Soline a great one. You can rent a bike and park your car here, too. I really enjoyed my time and recommend it to everyone. Thanks for all your work, and all the best. It’s a great hostel in one of Slovenia’s most beautiful towns.

I was given conflicting information about early check-in, then rudely turned away even at 1:30 PM. The man at reception introduced himself as the owner and spoke to me in a disrespectful, condescending way, asking things like, “Who are you? Are you my boss?” and “Are you the police?” It was one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had. There was no respect for guests, professionalism, or hospitality. Avoid this place.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the rooms were really clean and nicely decorated. It’s a fantastic place, very close to the sea, and I’d happily come back. My only suggestion is to have some breakfast choices for people with allergies or digestion problems, like non-dairy milk. Thanks for a great stay!

We rented one of their electric bikes at a very reasonable price. The bikes are good and new, and we definitely recommend them. The staff were very kind and helpful, too.
