Eagle’s Nest Hostel

The location was handy, with a grocery store right next door, and you can buy drinks and snacks at the hostel too. Laura and her family were wonderful hosts. The place had just celebrated its first anniversary the day before we arrived, and everything was still in tip-top shape. It was spotless but also welcoming, with a big common area full of books and games, including one for learning some Slovenien, and space to chat with other guests. Laura was friendly, informative, and gave us great suggestions for places to visit a bit off the beaten path. The shared room had comfortable beds, got dark at night, and had very little outside noise. There were extra blankets too, which was helpful for a cold sleeper. The bathrooms were extremely clean, and the shower was roomy. They’re planning to add a kitchen within the next year, so this cozy little place may get even better. I hope the best for Laura and her hostel, and can’t recommend it enough!
