Turisticna kmetija Pri Malnarjevih

We asked about authentic Slovenian food, and our hostess offered to make dinner for us at the restaurant. It was delicious. Breakfast was just as memorable: our host cooked fresh eggs from their chickens when we asked, and they were the best eggs we'd ever had. We'd stayed for two nights, and on our first evening I needed milk for tea. There was a kettle and tea set in the room, and our kind hostess brought milk along with two delicious apple pastries. They were wonderful hosts and also shared some great ideas for things to do nearby.

Everything about my stay was lovely, and the hosts treated me so kindly. I really appreciated their warm hospitality. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come back.

The room was upstairs, so it wouldn't work for someone using a wheelchair. That aside, it was a lovely stay: kind staff, a beautiful cat, and a generous breakfast. There's free parking in front of the house, and it's a nice spot for a walk in the forest, with a little river right outside. Good value for the price, too. Postonje cave is only about 15 minutes away by car.

We really liked the friendly owners and the breakfast made with fresh local products. The room was comfortable and very nice, and the countryside setting was lovely. We'd definitely love to come back.
