We found the campsite charming and reasonably priced, and would happily stay again if we’re passing through. The small pool was a welcome way to relax after a long drive, and the bar on site had delicious pizza for an easy evening. Our pitches were small but cozy, close to nature, with cows grazing peacefully nearby. The restrooms were clean and looked after, and the staff were so welcoming and service-minded that we felt at home.

We appreciated the swimming pool, and the sanitary facilities were clean and well looked after. The owners and staff were thoughtful and very friendly. Because our folding trailer wouldn’t fit in a regular spot, the owner found us a place in the backyard, which turned out to be the best spot on the campsite. That’s useful to know if you’re traveling with a folding trailer. There were lots of guests stopping for just a short time, so people came and went and the site could feel busy. We didn’t enjoy that as much, though our spot meant we weren’t affected too badly.

We’d come back one day. The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly, and there’s even a campground cat. With a pool, pool table, and bar together, this campsite is the kind of place Slovenia needs more of. One small fix would help: the syphons in the new single toilets are straight instead of curved, so those two toilets smell like the sewage system.

The campsite was full, but we were exhausted and had nowhere else to go. The owner managed to find us a place for one night, and we’re very thankful. It’s a beautiful spot, and the owner is incredibly kind.
