The staff were friendly and the breakfast was OK, and the sheets were clean. Still, the room was smaller than we expected, and the double bed was really just two separate beds pushed together. The tiny, old WC and shower hadn’t been properly cleaned and smelled of sewage. We had to block the drain with paper to keep the smell down. We won’t stay again.

Breakfast had plenty of choices, from scrambled eggs and pancakes to cereal and panna cotta. The renovated hotel is close to the caves and a small viewpoint over the city. The bar was closed the whole time, though they gave us some beers anyway. We booked that same day, so the sauna was already taken for the evening. Usually, you can book it for about 20 Euros for two hours.

Good value, comfortable beds, and AC. The bathroom was very small and smelled like the pipes or drains, and breakfast was just OK. Reception was friendly.

I only stayed one night at the family-run ECO Hotel Center, but was pleasantly surprised by the ambience and how service-minded everyone was. My room was spotless, and the mattress was comfortable. Even amid the morning rush, the employees stayed friendly. At the generous breakfast buffet, they greeted me warmly and seemed proud of their work at this special hotel. I’d clearly recommend it.

Parking was available, and the hotel was clean with friendly staff. It’s not really a luxury five-star place, but for the money it’s great value.
