Pira Hotel

We were only passing through and stayed for one night, but the experience was fantastic. Everyone was kind and welcoming, and the room was excellent. The dinner and breakfast were so good I can’t give them enough stars. We’ll definitely put this place on our itinerary next time we’re traveling through Slovenia.

We stopped here between the Postojna Caves and Isola on the coast, and it suited us perfectly as a quiet hideaway. There isn’t much else to do nearby, but we’d love to come back. The Pira Hotel has recently been renovated. The restaurant is beautifully designed but still warm and cozy, and we enjoyed dinner there. The food is pricey, though really tasty, with vegetarian choices and a wide range of regional wines. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Our spacious, spotless room had a small outdoor area, and the beds were very comfortable. There are EV charging stations in the outdoor car parks.

Everyone we spoke to seemed genuinely happy to have us as guests, and that welcoming, friendly service was what we appreciated most. The restaurant was excellent, with distinctive dishes made from delicious local ingredients. We were traveling around Slovenia on vacation, and the buildings had all been recently built or renovated at the time of our stay. We were so impressed by the design that we took a look at the other rooms too. Highly recommended!

The two ladies were among the kindest people, and everything felt very professional. Our room and the view were spectacular, the place was spotless, and breakfast was excellent. It was peaceful, and we could bring our two small dogs. They loved the nature and quiet here. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you for everything!
