We were lucky to find this hotel after coming up empty on rooms elsewhere. The rates were fair, and our room was comfortable and well kept. We really enjoyed the food, and the prices were good too. The lovely woman at reception later served us dinner as well, and she was helpful and very good at her job. We’re grateful we found the place and would stay again when we return to Slovenia.

Simple rooms in an economical-style hotel, set in a quiet area with a view of Slovenia’s highest mountain. The food was very good. I just like it here.

We could park our bikes in the garage, which was handy. Everyone at the hotel was so kind, and the food was better than best. Our group of friends slept together in a huge apartment on the third floor. The views were lovely, and we had a golden-hour sunset dinner with good beer.

The staff were always smiling and very helpful. English was a little hard to manage, though one woman also spoke German. The place and food are traditional Slovenian, with a quiet setting and nice views. I’d recommend the restaurant and wine. One thing to know, there’s no elevator, so leave heavy bags in the car 😉

Our stay came at a very affordable price, and the hosts were lovely. It’s a classic Slovenian setting with a real stuffed bear. The cook uses fresh produce from their own garden, and they serve excellent Slovenian wine.
