The staff were lovely, friendly, and ready to help. The room seemed fine, but the pillows were hard to get comfortable on. There was also a loud machine or something just outside, so sleeping with the window open was impossible. The AC made too much noise to use, and even in mid-November the room was uncomfortably warm.

Breakfast tasted fine, though the dining hall had a grim, almost institutional feel. The bigger problem was the state of the place: the floors were extremely dirty, and there were insects around. The air conditioning barely cooled the room, too. For a single night it was tolerable, but I wouldn’t want to stay longer. Bringing a dog costs 15€ per night, which feels unreasonable when the rules listed before payment are mostly common sense for dog owners, and breaking one means a 100€ charge. Rules no.2 and no.4 also contradict each other: one says not to leave a dog alone in the room, while the other says dogs can’t go into the breakfast hall. They should rewrite those rules.

The price was very affordable, but I don’t think I’d come back. Our twin room was extremely cramped, with only 20 cm to squeeze between the bed and the wall where the TV is mounted. Breakfast came packed like a lunch box, picked up with coffee at reception and taken back to the room. That’s a pretty silly setup. The location is good, and parking is available, though the lot is very small.

The location is a real plus, just five minutes from the old city, and reception staff were genuinely helpful. Our room was clean, although it could have been bigger. Breakfast was decent, and the hotel was about what I expected for a 3-star place.
