We throughly enjoyed our stay. Igor was a fantastic host who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. He took time to answer questions, give recommendations, and give great information on the history of Skofja Loka. The room was clean and looked exactly like the photos. The view of the river, bridge, and old Town was spectacular. He also provided a wonderful breakfast. Having the bus station a few steps away was also convenient, as we were able to take a bus right to downtown Ljubljana for a price that was less than what gas, parking, and hassle would have cost.

This was my favorite stay during my vacation in Slovenia. Igor, the owner, puts a lot of care into the property and the comfort of his guests. If you love history, charm and a cozy stay, Hotel Garni is the place for you. Rooms were impeccably clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and featured local baked goods. Location was fantastic. Igor goes above and beyond giving a personal touch to the experience. We learned so much from him about the local area and history of the region. He also gave us incredible tips on hidden gems to explore. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful week. The hotel is very central to many places of interest, both in town and also famous places like Lake Bles, Bohinj, Ljulblana, Soca valley among others. Igor and his wife were very nice. Very good breakfast. Igor was very kind and also gave us tips of other places to visit. Thanks Igor, we appreciated a lot your friendship.
