Hotel Planja has superior family rooms and suites, while Hotel Rogla offers modern double rooms. They’re two separate hotels in the Rogla complex, sharing facilities including the reception, restaurant, wellness center, and sports hall.

A lovely place for a holiday, with beautiful nature, delicious food, and lots of fun for the children.

There’s a great choice of outdoor activities for families, whether you’re here for skiing in winter or hiking in summer. It works well for groups too. I’d recommend the nearby treetop walk Pohorje as a place worth seeing.

The staff are very kind, and the rooms are a real strong point, modern, functional, and contemporary. Breakfast is extremely plentiful, but dinner leaves a lot to be desired. The hotel’s shared areas definitely need renovation.

The rooms are small but cozy, and there’s no parking of their own. Food is good, though it’s more the usual kind. Staff are mostly kind and helpful. Their English or other language skills are limited, but enough.
