The room was clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was for the price. Sleeping as a couple was uncomfortable with two separate duvets instead of one, and the lack of blackout curtains meant the sun woke me at 5 a.m. on holiday. Still, it’s a pleasant place and I’d recommend it.

I’ve stayed here four times. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the old town, and although there’s a highway beside the pension, the windows do a good job keeping the sound out. The people working here are very, very friendly and helpful.

The room I had smelled strongly of mildew, including around the main room, perhaps because of an issue with the shower. I hope it was temporary. Otherwise, it’s a convenient place to stay: spacious, clean rooms, friendly staff, a great location, and free parking. I’d have liked to give you five stars!

The location is great, close to the city center, and parking is free. The owner was friendly and tried to meet every request, which is why I gave four stars. Sleep was difficult, though. The rooms were very noisy, and the doors creaked whenever another guest arrived or left, waking me up. Light also came through the gap under my door from the corridor all night. The floor was cold, and with it 5C outside and no heating on yet, I was cold all night too. I also missed having cosmetic wipes or a shampoo that doesn’t foam.

For this price, it’s hard to find somewhere this quiet, cozy, and nice. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
