Hotel Crystal

In the heart of Košice, Hotel Crystal is a handy base, just steps from St. Elizabeth Cathedral and the lively Main Street. It was quiet at night despite the central location. My modern room was clean and surprisingly spacious, with a comfortable bed, and the staff were warm, multilingual and helped with luggage and local tips. Breakfast was generous, with fresh pastries and Slovak specialties. Great value for a city trip or business stay. Nice 3.5 star hotel.

I’ve stayed here more than once and have loved the hotel and the crew every time. It’s modern, close to the city centre, and parking is right by the entrance. The rooms are always clean, and breakfast is super tasty and healthy. Everyone speaks English fluently and is lovely and helpful in any situation. I once forgot my phone charger in the room. The hotel replied to my message and mailed it to me in another country for free. I’ll keep choosing this place.

It’s a good deal for the money, with an excellent breakfast and kind, friendly staff. The hotel is in a quiet part of the city, outside the center, but it’s only five minutes by taxi to the old city. There’s a good restaurant across the road, and the hotel has different kinds of rooms that could work well for families too.

The breakfast went beyond what I expected: generous, delicious and varied, with options that felt a bit different from the usual. The staff were warm and welcoming, and their care for guests felt sincere, not like an act. You can tell they do their work with love and respect for customers.
