The balcony view is almost magical, and the room was clean. There’s a bathroom in the room on the third floor, with a shared kitchen. The Ždyar (Tatry) stop is about three minutes from the apartment. The hosts are on the first floor, though we barely crossed paths.

The room itself was fine for the price, and the mountain view was genuinely beautiful. We had asked for a double bed, but it turned out to be two beds pushed together. A baby would have ended up in the gap, and we slept poorly. The building seems as though it should be smoke-free, but there’s a lingering smell of long-term smoking indoors. We didn’t notice it in our room.

It’s quiet here, and the owners are friendly. The trail entrance from Monkova Dolina is just over the fence, and the bus stop is even nearer.
