We found the location right in the middle of Banska Stiavnica perfect, and the service was good. The hotel itself was decent, with clean, tidy rooms. One room had no curtains, though, which made sleeping difficult. There are only two parking spots beside the hotel, which isn’t ideal, but in May that was enough for us.

I’m staying in the most expensive room, the Presidential Suite, and wish I’d gone somewhere else. The internet doesn’t work, and the staff just shrug. There’s no shower, only a tub, so I have to hold the shower handle above my head. Traffic on the Main Street is very noisy. The mattress is old and has only a thin sheet over it.
