A real surprise was the mountain river running right alongside. Exceptional!

We came to ski on Chopok Mountain and hoped to have a fun family trip, but the day before checkout the owner messaged us that late checkout was possible if we chose a time. We asked for 4 PM, and the property accepted. The next morning we bought all-day ski passes and headed to the slopes early. Around noon, the property called to say we hadn't checked out, guests were arriving, and we had to be out by 12 PM. We were all skiing at the top of the mountain. Afraid they'd pack up our things and remove them from the apartment, we rushed back and put our health at risk to collect everything. The woman we spoke to was extremely rude, even insolent, and stood over us while we finished packing. Worse, while we were away, they entered the apartment despite our refusal and packed our underwear, clothes, laptops and jewelry. The owner apologized, but did nothing else. We were simply thrown out. The trip itself went well, but the experience will stay with us for a lifetime. Save yourself the stress and risk to your health, and don't stay here if you don't want to be out on the street at any moment. There’s practically no kitchenette, no stove, and hardly any dishes. The location is very good, near the ski bus, but street noise carries inside. Huge bedroom windows right next to the bed also leave you with no sense of privacy.

The cottage was lovely, with spacious rooms looking out onto the forest. Everything was great, and we’ll definitely come back next year.

We had agreed on extending the stay from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Even so, while I was out on the slopes, the owner decided to pack my things and remove me from the apartment because new guests had booked it. The nerve of it.
