There's a lot to do nearby, from a cave and forest walks to healing spas, aqua parks and even the High Tatras. The hotel's location is handy for trips around the area, and if you stay repeatedly you can earn a 5% loyalty discount. It's a simple but clean hotel, with good food. Breakfast is a buffet, while dinner is ordered a day ahead from three or four choices, including one vegetarian meal every day. My experience was good overall. I gave four stars because during this stay the chambermaid missed two days in a row, so I ran out of bathroom tissue and had to ask reception for more. That hadn't happened on my earlier visits.

The hotel's older, but very clean, and the shower has an unusual design. The staff are pleasant and helpful, and I had a nice view of the surroundings from my room. It's a great area for activities year-round, including hiking and cycling. Food was excellent too, with breakfast and dinner buffets to choose from. Lunch is served, with three main courses to pick from, and there's also the option of a cycle package for a full-day trip. Reception is open non-stop, and they answered all my questions and gave me information about activities. I brought my bike, and the cycle paths nearby were amazing. I also enjoyed trips to Popradské pleso. Kôprova and Ticha dolina valleys are easy to reach directly from the hotel, making this an excellent location. There's a bus stop right outside as well. I recommend staying here and thank the whole staff for a great week.
