Hotel Šariš

The mattress was definitely firmer than I'm used to, though that's just personal preference. Otherwise, I wasn't disappointed during my fall visit to see family in Bardejov. The rooms were clean and well stocked, and housekeeping came promptly when I requested it. There's a good choice of drinks at the bar by reception. I didn't get to try the restaurant, but relatives say it's pretty good. I'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Bardejov.

The facade looks ugly, so don't let that put you off. Inside, the hotel is nice, with friendly staff and clean, pleasant rooms. We stayed on the first floor. The restaurant does inexpensive lunches and, around noon, it works almost like a canteen for locals.

Private parking is free, and the staff were polite. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the room was a comfortable middle size, neither too big nor too small.

Nothing special. The rooms are small, and the ones on the first floor are much better than those on the third, even though they cost the same. If you can, look for somewhere better.
