Horáreň Pod Dobákom

The cottage seemed like it was set up for business, and not much attention had gone into the details. Cupboards smelled musty, the toilet seats wobbled, and the low ceilings and beam by the exit could be dangerous for taller people. For a cottage meant to hold so many people, the kitchen had very little equipment: a small fridge, not many glasses or mugs.

We were there as a family with children, and we will definitely never come back. The cottage is large enough for several families, but that’s where its advantages end. The tap water isn’t drinkable, so you have to buy water. The bedding and towels were stale and smelled bad, and toilet paper and soap had to be bought. The kitchen had a small, inadequate fridge, and the plates and glasses were old and broken. Only one of the three lamps worked. Outside was neglected and unmowed, and the bench by the fire was broken. I don’t recommend staying here. The owner could reconsider. It’s very sad.

The common room and well-equipped kitchen work especially well for larger groups. There’s also a fireplace with a great place to relax opposite it. The cottage is at a good standard, and the surroundings are beautiful. 👍👍

The cottage has everything needed for a comfortable stay, and it’s suitable for families with children. The accommodation is lovely, surrounded by beautiful nature.
