Apartmány I - KAfe Bojnice

I was very satisfied, especially with the great price and the barrier-free accommodation. The apartment is beautiful, tastefully decorated, clean, and has a fully equipped kitchen. The owner is pleasant, helpful, and accommodating.

We were meant to stay three nights, and the first one in apartment 7 was great. In the morning we moved to apartment 1, where there was an unbelievably strong fragrance smell. The maid swapped the duvets and pillows, and we left the windows open while we went to enjoy Bojnice, but when we came back it was still unbearable. We removed anything we thought could be causing it, with no luck. A woman from the neighboring apartment confirmed the smell and recognized it as fragrance oil. She let us into her place, where there was no smell at all. We contacted the owner, who confirmed she uses oil for washing. We found a container of it in the kitchen, where she had directed us. We stripped the bed and took things out, but that changed nothing. It seemed the oil had spilled somewhere and was leaking. We couldn't take it any longer. When we contacted the owner again, she came around 6 PM, said she didn't deal with problems at that time, and brought some sheets. We gave up and found somewhere else to stay. She kept the full payment for the night we left, and we were told to check out and put the key in the mailbox. When your child says the smell is making him sick, you leave. What surprised me was the owner's attitude. :-(

The place was clean, but check what equipment your room actually has before booking. Not every room has a stove, and the WiFi was barely there. One receptionist was really nice, while the other didn't come across that way.

The building is close to the center, with a public transport stop right outside. Our accommodation was lovely and clean, and we were very happy with it.
