The place looked nothing like the photos. The bed, bathroom, and furniture were all very old, and the kitchen had aluminum spoons. It didn’t feel welcoming for a mum and baby, and the receptionist’s attitude wasn’t friendly either. The staircase felt dangerous with a small child. I wouldn’t stay again. What I paid was far too much for the experience.

The location is a real plus, right in the center and just five minutes from the castle and zoo. From outside, the guesthouse looks very pleasant, and communication was easy. The lady was kind and helpful, willing to explain things over and over. Inside, though, the furniture is worn and could use replacing. Our attic room was incredibly hot, and opening the window didn’t help. The bathroom had no toiletries or hairdryer, and there was no TV in the room. Since it was raining, we ended up sitting on the bed with nothing to do. It’s fine for a night’s sleep, but updating the place would give it a fresh feel.

The location is the one good thing about this place. We only needed somewhere to sleep and don’t have high standards, but the bed made that impossible. The springs dug into my body so badly that my hips hurt down to the bone. I was close to crying from trying to sleep, and only putting two duvets underneath me helped. A terrible place. Read the reviews and avoid it.
