Charming&Cozy-Ambiente Apartments

The only good parts were the easy check-in and central location. I wrote to reception twice with a question and never got a reply. The room wasn't worthy of the 3-star rating they claim: it was small, the bed creaked and was uncomfortable, the sheets were very low quality and itchy, and traffic noise came through the windows. At checkout we had to take out our own trash or pay a €20 penalty. They provided two tiny shampoo samples, and the toilet smelled. Cheaply made and uncomfortable, and not worth what I paid.

The apartment was well equipped, nicely designed, and came with Nespresso capsules for the whole stay. We liked the location, the contactless check-in and check-out, and how easy it was to communicate with staff. But we found a dirty glass, which really shouldn't happen and made me wonder whether the other dishes had been cleaned properly. The curtains were very thin. I was also only told the day before arrival that smoking wasn't allowed anywhere in the building, balconies included. I understand the ban inside the apartment, since that's in the description, but I don't remember seeing anything about the balcony.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, and the building felt very secure. The apartments are right in central Bratislava, with shops and food nearby and the busier parts of town less than a two-minute walk away. Very nice place for a great price. Try the pancake restaurant next door!

I booked it because it's near the city center, and the apartment turned out to be more than I expected. It was clean, modern, had a great view, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. The person at reception was kind and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again if I return to this wonderful city.
