Circle Apartments Ipelská

We’ve toured worldwide for 10 years, and this was our worst experience. We waited three hours to check in. The owner didn't speak English, and they told us to wait until 11-12 pm. We said that was too late, but they didn't care. We eventually arrived at 00:03, and they wanted us to pay €50 for being late. When I tried to explain to the guy what had happened during the day, he just left us there alone late at night without accommodation.

I was left without a room at 11pm after arriving 36 minutes late and having my reservation canceled. They ask guests for an estimated arrival time, but don't tell you that being late can mean losing the whole booking. I met a couple downstairs who were leaving because their room was so messy they couldn't stand it. I asked if I could take it, but the guy said he wouldn't let me in because it was too dirty. No words. You should tell people about this policy. No stars for you.

We lasted five minutes in that terrible apartment before deciding to check out. It had bed bugs and was out in the outer part of Pozsony (Bratislava). We didn't care about the bathroom because all we needed was one night after a long trip before heading home to Hungary. Instead, we spent six more hours sitting on a bench in front of the railway station, waited for it to open, then caught the first train. We couldn't wait to get home to Budapest. Never again.

The flat was dirty throughout. The kitchen was completely sticky, and my dusty room had lots of hair, even on the bedsheet. Bed bugs bit me badly, leaving wounds and intense itching for a couple of weeks. I DO NOT recommend it!
