Hotel Horizont Resort

That extra bed mattress was impossible to sleep on, worse than the floor. For a hotel like this, I don't understand why they wouldn't provide a decent one. That's why I'm giving the room 3 stars.

The wellness and spa areas were very clean and well maintained, and the spa is highly recommended. The VIP area, though, is embarrassing at 80 euros an hour. Parking was free. Our room looked very nice, but it had a strange smell. The hotel has a modern design. Breakfast and dinner were adequate, nothing more, and when we arrived for dinner at 7:30 p.m. the waiters were already setting up for breakfast. It was noisy and unpleasant. The free breakfast coffee was disgusting, and everything else costs extra.

Set in beautiful nature, the hotel has a really quiet atmosphere. Its wellness area is one of the best I've experienced.

More than a year after we left, we're still being pressed to pay a €15.90 minibar bill. Whoever had the items may have forgotten about it long ago, but we're still having to explain ourselves and argue with the hotel. I strongly suggest checking the minibar before you leave and taking a photo of what's inside. It never occurred to me that this would be necessary at a four-star hotel. My partner and I stayed for a few days in February 2024. At check-in we got two key cards. We took one on an excursion, used it to get back into the room, and left the other in the holder by the door to keep the power on. When we returned, that card had disappeared. We reported it to reception right away, but they only gave us a replacement and took no further action. Check-out seemed fine, but the day after we left, an invoice arrived for €15.90 in minibar charges. We refused to pay and told the hotel by phone and email that we hadn't consumed anything. Now, in March 2025, they're still pursuing the bill.
