We were surprised by how much value came with the all-inclusive package. The amenities and service were high quality, the food was fantastic, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were available free throughout the stay, all for a remarkably low price. We visited during the week, so the days were quiet and calm, just right for switching off. The wellness and spa area was easy to access and made a lovely place to relax. Dining was a big part of the experience: breakfast was generous and delicious, lunch was very tasty, and dinner stood out with lots of variety and a distinctive four-course menu. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and focused on making everything comfortable. Our stay at Hotel Lesná in Stará Lesná, Slovakia, was incredible. It’s a peaceful place with great service and value, and a wonderful base for enjoying the High Tatras. Highly recommended.

The Lavender conference room worked really well for two days of meetings while it was over 30 degrees outside. We came for an offsite and were very pleased with the hospitality. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with views, and the staff were wonderful. The menu was remarkably good. I can’t say enough about the stay. We had a great time and definitely recommend it.

The outside didn’t make much of an impression, but inside the place met our expectations. Our room was spacious and clean, with a mountain view, and the spa had saunas, pools, and an outdoor jacuzzi. We didn’t try the food. Everything else was really good.

The rest of the spa was quite nice, but I expected more for the price. There are just three saunas and two hot tubs, one barely large enough for two people. Drinks at the bar cost two or three times what they do in an average local restaurant. I’ve never understood why spa drinks are so expensive when keeping and serving them there shouldn’t cost the owner more. There’s no relaxing music anywhere in the spa, which some people might actually prefer.
