Gabriel really made my stay. I was nervous about coming to Slovakia without knowing the language, but the hotel manager put me at ease straight away. He told me to relax by the pool, brought me a beer and then another when I asked, and even squeezed some of his own toothpaste onto my toothbrush. He also suggested an excellent taxi driver, Tobias, and shared a few of his favourite local mountain songs. The hotel was nice, but Gabriel's presence made the whole experience wonderful. He deserves to be a full-time hotel manager and a good person. Highly recommend!

Spent a good week climbing in the Tatry mountains. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, so I'd recommend staying here without hesitation.

I won't forget this stay. I came away feeling how spectacular life can be, especially when I can unwind over a nice seafood dinner. Frozen seafood is fine by me, though I think it was fresh here. Gabriel, the manager, made me feel like a welcomed brother in arms as well as a guest. He had toothpaste ready at just the right time, a hypnotic smile, and a scintillating choice of music. The atmosphere was to die for, and his service deserved a BAFTA. My hat's off to Lord Gabriel. Tobias is a great lad too, and I hope things go well for him and he makes it to London.

I enjoyed my stay. There was plenty for adults and kids to do, including billiards, a big pool, calcchetto, air hockey and a solarium. The receptionist was nice, and there's a great mountain view from the balcony. For the price, it's quite nice, although the rooms could be better. The village isn't far, about a 15-minute walk to the nearest grocery store.
