The rooms are spacious, lovely, and exceptionally clean, with everything well equipped and carefully thought through. From up at the top of the village, the views are great. The owner is superb, and I already know where I’ll stay next time.

The view is beautiful, and there’s the option to grill. It’s comfortable, clean, and the kitchen is well equipped. I definitely recommend it.

Everything felt arranged with visitors in mind. The host was very kind, a mountain person and guide, and probably a lifeguard too. The rooms are large, the bathroom is spacious with a skylight, and the big kitchen is well equipped. Each room has its own fridge, so the kitchen never gets crowded. Villa Ema is a great base for hiking and relaxing in the Slovak Tatras. There are two shops and a church nearby, and the electric train is a 15-minute drive through fields and meadows. The owner suggested an inn serving Slovak food in Velki Slavkov, 3 km toward Poprad, and it was fantastic. Maps, brochures, and other materials are available to buy. We’re already thinking about coming back, maybe in September.
