The room was roomy and clean, with its own bathroom, and the price was reasonable. It had A/C, and the reception staff were friendly around the clock. The parking was handy, though getting in is very tight. With my Fiat 500, I folded in the mirrors to keep from scraping the walls. The shower head was mounted too high for me, so I had to hold it while washing.

I felt right at home in this cozy hotel. Many thanks to the reception ladies and everyone on staff.

For the price, this is a very good option close to the center of Bratislava. The room came with a little fridge, TV, kettle, and cups, though you need to bring your own tea or coffee. Billa is about 300 meters away, and Blumental tram stop is a five-minute walk.

Good central hostel, clean and pleasant, and a solid choice if you want somewhere inexpensive. Breakfast is limited, with very small plates and no buffet. How satisfying it is probably depends on the kind of breakfast you're used to.

The receptionist was incredibly rude. I asked for information and she threatened to call the police. She doesn't speak English, but she sure knows how to be nasty. It was tragic and funny at once. Be prepared for a real Slovak experience.
